Direct Mail Marketing

This was a direct mail piece that was sent out to the people located around the new Yummi Candle store, located in downtown Toronto.


I needed to come up with a way to entice people to come and visit the new location. I used the marketing strategy of receiving a free candle when this mail-out was presented in-store.


My main goal was for this piece to stand out from other common mail advertising. I decided the best solution was to make the project interactive and have the customer want to spend more time with this mail and have fun. The actual mail-out has scored dieline that folds up into a small box which then would house the free candle that you receive in-store.



This project was featured by Canada Post in their "Tuesday TV" special with an example of the project in motion.
